There is something truly magical about the Robertson Wine Valley, and our recent Valentine’s date night at the historic Rietvallei Wine Estate
was no exception. Under the soft glow of the valley stars, couples joined us for a “Valentine’s Date Night” of hands-on cooking, laughter, and incredible connection.

An event this special doesn’t happen without a dream team. A massive thank you to Janlu and Zaane Kuyler, the larger-than-life couple who organized every detail to perfection. We are also incredibly grateful to Elizabeth Burger for her warmth and for so generously sharing her beautiful venue and world-class hospitality with us.
The night was a sensory journey where guests rolled up their sleeves to create an authentic three-course Indian feast from scratch. We turned up the heat in the kitchen, crafting traditional samoosas , a delicious chili bite, and a fragrant Korma, all while enjoying the serene vineyard views.
The experience culminated at a beautifully set long table where couples shared their handmade meal paired with Rietvallei’s celebrated wines, like their JMB Cabernet Franc.
